Yoga For The Upper Body
Join me in this variation of cows-head with the arms to help free up the upper body. In this short sequence we’ll explore internal and external rotation of the shoulders and arms along with some deep neck stretches. This combination of movement can be quite beneficial in releasing shoulder, neck and even jaw tension to create more space, freedom and ease.
As a result, this practice is great for anyone who is hunched over at a desk all day and needs a little relief in the upper body. And, it’s also fantastic for singers, actors, dancers and/or musicians to help prepare and condition the body and voice for performance mode.
